Now that we’ve all had time to recharge our batteries, it’s time to kick off our JSAHR 2020 meeting calendar. Please join us for the following event: JSAHR January Meeting January 9 th at Jumping Brook Country Club How to Use the F-word at Work - Feedback Presented by Harrison Kim Presentation Description: Talent is often cited as the biggest bottleneck for organizations. For many organizations, most efforts have gone into talent acquisition. What they fail to recognize is that they can't just keep "refilling the bucket." Sidelining talent management causes organizations to miss significant opportunities. In particular, performance management is one of the most critical, yet one of the least effective parts of talent management today. Additionally, the generational shift in the workplace is only going to make the traditional performance management systems more obsolete. Constructive, objective, and continuous feedback helps employees accelerate their skill development, which in turn, helps organizations grow faster. Feedback is also a powerful tool that can be instrumental in retaining employees; however, it is a double-edged sword. When done incorrectly, it can seriously hurt employees' morale. At Our January Meeting - Food Drive to Support Monmouth Day Care Center Monmouth Day Care Center (MDCC) in Red Bank, New Jersey, is dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating environment in which children are nurtured and challenged intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. Founded in 1969, for the past 50 years Monmouth Day Care Center has been supporting local families and breaking the cycle of poverty in Monmouth County. MDCC provides every child with a nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch and snack at no cost to the family. In addition to a full-service kitchen on site and a full-time cook, a food pantry with non-perishable items is available for anyone who enters the building. Unfortunately, the pantry which is 100% donation supported has not been stocked in a while. We are asking all attendees to our January meeting to bring ANY of the following items to the meeting: Apples Body Soap Bread Breakfast Bars Canned Fruit Canned Proteins (tuna, fish, salmon, chicken, etc) Canned vegetables Cereal Cookies Crackers Dried Fruit Green Bananas Healthy Snacks Jelly Juice Juice Boxes Laundry Detergent Mac & Cheese (boxed) Mashed Potatoes Oatmeal Oranges Pasta Pasta Sauce Peanut Butter Potatoes Protein Bars Shampoo/Conditioner Small Water Bottles Soup Stews Toothpaste We thank you for your support!
